First-chair trial counsel for retail energy provider sued by former employee for alleged agreement seeking over $10 million in equity and contingent compensation after termination. After compelling arbitration and conducting a one-week evidentiary hearing on the merits, the arbitration panel awarded Champion a full defense victory in the form of a take nothing judgment and attorney’s fee award.

Plaintiff’s counsel for non-profit health care system suing the developer who failed to finance and build a new hospital in the Clear Lake area. After matter was consolidated with two other cases pending in Harris County and Fort Bend County, the parties reached a confidential resolution whereby St. Luke’s assumed ownership of a medical campus in Sugar Land, Texas on very favorable terms.
